Meet the Press: More than a Year of Spreading the Bristol2Beijing Message

Last week was an overwhelming week for Bristol2Beijing.  The release of a video on the BBC ten days ago drew amazing traffic to the expedition website and our social media feeds.  In just a few days we were blessed with more than a thousand new followers and nearly five hundred additional donors whose generous contributions pushed us above £65,000 raised, and growing!

What a difference a week makes, especially when we are able to spread the message of Bristol2Beijing -- that all of us can live richly and fully when we choose to do so.  We don’t know how long we’ve got, so making the most of each day is always the best answer.

Most meaningful of all to Luke and the Bristol2Beijing team is knowing that the expedition and its message is resulting in meaningful changes in people’s lives.  It’s great to inspire, even better to motivate, and world-changing if the message catalyses action and lasting change.

We know from thousands of messages from our growing community over the past 15 months that the message is spreading.  In many cases, receipt of the Bristol2Beijing message has led to reports of putting the trainers back on, pushing for an extra bit of enjoyment in the day, making more quality time with friends and loved ones, or starting something new and fulfilling.  This is the fuel that keeps us all going, and recharges Luke as he crosses Turkey and soon, the Asian continent.

Here is (more than) a year in review of press and news coverage that we’re so proud of as it continues to share the spirit of Bristol2Beijing with the world - now in several languages!
